Billy’s Story
Billy dealt with an opioid addiction that put him in prison, left him in shelters and on the street, and nearly killed him.
But thanks to your support and Billy’s will to live, he found treatment. He moved into Aeon’s property, The Alliance, which serves residents who are in recovery. Your big heart helped Billy become the man he is today. Thank you so much for all you do to make homes for people like Billy possible.
Today, Billy has
been sober for
seven years.
“The Alliance has made my achievements in life possible – from something as small as getting my drivers’ license to something as huge as being promoted to manager in my job.”
Billy has since moved out of the Alliance and into another Aeon property. He wanted to give others the space to grow like he did. He also recently joined Aeon’s team as an employee. Today, Billy wants to be the example of change he wants to see in the community. He wants to be a voice for people experiencing homelessness.
