Affordable housing nonprofit Aeon looks toward the future with new talent

Minnesota is facing an affordable housing crisis, and Aeon — a nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing in the Twin Cities region — has set an ambitious goal to produce three times the amount of affordable homes as it currently does on an annual basis. To achieve this goal, the organization is bringing in new talent to meet a growing need.

This spring, Aeon hired two new employees to expand Aeon’s Advancement Team:

Jen Small, Grant Writer

Jen Small joins Aeon after working for several years in Washington DC. Before joining the nonprofit sector, Jen held business development and strategy roles at a digital marketing agency. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she worked for local newspapers and spent several years as a research assistant investigating social and cultural psychology. Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Juana Moya, Advancement Assistant

Juana joins Aeon with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and public relations from UW-Eau Claire and has experience in sales and account management. In her new role, Juana aids Aeon’s Advancement Team. She also provides direct support to Aeon’s Chief Advancement Officer.
