Aeon welcomes Pergola Property Management Principal Owner as new board member

Aeon’s Board of Directors welcomed Pergola Property Management’s Principal Owner, Joe Abraham, as its newest member on November 9. Aeon is tackling the increasingly urgent need for more affordable homes in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. For more than 20 years, Abraham has led a multi-family real estate company with an unparalleled attention to detail and the passionate belief that housing strengthens our communities.

“Aeon fills a critical leadership role in providing affordable homes for so many in our communities,” said Abraham. “This is meaningful and impactful work and it’s an honor to support this incredible leadership team. I look forward to putting my experience as a housing provider to use for this great organization.”

In addition to operating Pergola Management, Abraham is on the board of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association (MHA), and previously served as their board chair.

“I am thrilled to welcome Joe to Aeon’s board of directors,” said Aeon President & CEO Dr. Eric Anthony Johnson. “His decades of experience managing housing in the Twin Cities makes his perspective so valuable as we continue to tackle the affordable housing crisis. Joe’s knowledge of every part of the property operations world, and his passion for building community through housing, make him a great asset to Aeon.”

Abraham holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in finance from Penn State University.
